"Diversity for Europe" is a continuation on an earlier project called Scale 1 : 1,16. Our goal is to create a wider diversity (and access/possibilities) in public spaces in order to make all people fit those shared spaces.

With a toolkit existing out of four yellow benches we are looking for height differences.

With the legs in different length and special attachments, we’re traveling trough different types of landscapes in order to find interesting scenarios. Therefore a big part of this intervention is "Live Action Research" in which we are creating test cases directly on the spot.

The outcome of this research is a ninety degrees curved yellow bench referring to the toolkit we used during the research in the area of the European Union in Strasbourg. With our inclusive design approach we are aiming to give comfort according to the personal preferences of people of different size.
